HEY JUDE!
Lomography Gallery Store in Chinatown, Singapore

There are tons of Lomographic Embassies and Lomography Gallery Stores throughout the world. This one in Chinatown in Singapore was opened last 2011 by Lomographic Society International and became the first Lomography Gallery store in Southeast Asia. Literally, this is the first store I have visited when I moved in Singapore a couple of months ago.

The store also provides a wide range of film development of the highest quality. This is a special service for all Lomographic desires and acts as a starting point for regular activities and exhibitions. Regular exhibitions, parties and workshops will make sure that there is always something going on in the Lomography Gallery Store Singapore.

ZALORA Secures €20 Million Investment From Tengelmann

ZALORA, Asia’s fastest-growing online fashion and beauty retailer, has received a €20 million investment from German retail giant Tengelmann Group (“Tengelmann”). Tengelmann is the latest blue-chip investor to support ZALORA’s rapid growth and to help the company expand its already-strong position in leading Asia’s fashion and beauty e-commerce industry. Tengelmann joins an impressive investor base counting Rocket Internet, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Investment AB Kinnevik and Summit Partners, among others.

“We are very excited to join the ZALORA team,” Christian Winter, CEO of Tengelmann Ventures said, “We are confident that this is a synergistic and promising partnership given both our strengths in retail and the tremendous potential of the e-commerce market in Asia. ZALORA’s success in the market, growth trajectory, management team and investor base speak volumes about how the company is fast becoming the undisputed leader for online fashion and beauty
retail in many countries.”

Michele Ferrario, Regional Managing Director of ZALORA SEA commented, “Tengelmann’s long and successful experience in retailing and specifically e-commerce will prove useful for ZALORA as we cement our position as an e-commerce industry leader in fashion and beauty retail.”
