ZALORA, Asia’s fastest-growing online fashion and beauty retailer, has received a €20 million investment from German retail giant Tengelmann Group (“Tengelmann”). Tengelmann is the latest blue-chip investor to support ZALORA’s rapid growth and to help the company expand its already-strong position in leading Asia’s fashion and beauty e-commerce industry. Tengelmann joins an impressive investor base counting Rocket Internet, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Investment AB Kinnevik and Summit Partners, among others.

Finally, Mumford & Sons released their new music video “Whispers in the Dark” which is the new single off of their latest album “Babel”. The album won the Album of the Year award at the 2013 Grammys. If you are a fan of the band, you probably heard this song long time ago. YouTube has a smattering of videos of the band performing the song from back in mid-2010.

I was browsing through GM’s website, an annual international design conference event that I attended several times (GM Blog Post) and saw that Jessica’s name in the speakers list! And Yes!! I already got my ticket for next month’s event and I can’t wait to see her! She is awesome as ever and been following her for quite some time now.

Her work has been featured in numerous magazines and books, and won design awards from the Type Directors Club, Art Directors Club, SPD, Print, Graphis, among others. She has been named Computer Arts magazines “Top Rising Star in Design”, an Art Directors Club “Young Gun”, and Print Magazines “New Visual Artist”. She has worked with studios such as Sagmeister Inc, Pentagram Design and Print Magazine, and freelances for a variety of clients such as the The New York Times, AIGA, Computer Arts & I.D. Magazine, and Technology Review.
